Minivans are the undisputed best family vehicles on the road! The focus is on family-friendly features and comfort, which is why it is important to check how quiet they are! Here at Car Confections, we take a sound-level reading for each minivan we review so that they can be ranked from quietest to loudest! That includes the most popular models, like the Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Pacifica and Kia Carnival. So which model is the quietest in the segment? Check out the list below to find out!
| Model Year | Make and Model | Reading (in dB) | Special Notes |

These SPL readings make no sense. The top trim Carnival somehow has nearly 2.5x the cabin noise of the base model? Cmon now.
As can be seen in the notes, the loudest Carnival was tested in a different state on different road conditions. However, the rest of the Carnival readings are all close to a 1 dB difference, which is not discernible to the human ear. We do our best to replicate our conditions, but sometimes it cannot be done on a press drive.
