What’s Under the Hood?

The big news for 2025 is that there is wider availability of the most powerful engine option:

Base: 2.0L Boxer-4 | 152 hp | 145 lb.ft (Flat four)

Premium/Sport/Limited/Wilderness: 2.5L Boxer-4 | 182 hp | 178 lb.ft

However, Subaru has confirmed there will be a Hybrid model next year for 2026! This is an important change in this competitive segment. The fuel economy for each model is as listed:

2.5L CVT: 27/33/29 MPG

Wilderness: 25/29/27 MPG
