Design and Features

The X2 is another one of those new BMW models that aims to “think outside of the box” in terms of design. The X2 is much bolder and angular than the bigger X4 and X6, but still maintains signature BMW elements. The M35i really steps up the game with aggressive diffusers, quad exhausts, and a large rear lip. The 28i will be available in two design groups, Sport or M-Sport. What’s Under the Hood?

There are two distinct engine options for the X2, depending on your need for speed:

  • Base Engine: 
    • 2.0L Turbo 4: 241 hp | 295 lb.ft
  • M35i:
    • Enhanced 2.0L Turbo 4: 312 hp | 295 lb.ft

AWD and a new 7-speed dual clutch transmission is standard on every BMW X2 model. The fuel economy for each model is listed below, as rated by the EPA:
