Design and Features
As a note for the model year, we are calling this model a 2026, but it is technically considered a 2025.5, to be released halfway through 2025. For the design, the changes are not radical but elevates the already handsome Volvo design. The front and rear facias will be changed, as well as the classy Volvo grille. Surprisingly, the XC90 still offers three powertrains for 2026, with the B5 and B6 running new Miller Cycles for better efficiency:
- B5: 2.0L Turbo I4 w/ 48v mild hybrid system – 247 hp | 266 lb.ft of torque.
- B6: 2.0L Turbo I4 w/ 48v mild hybrid system – 300 hp | 310 lb.ft
- T8: 455 hp | 523 lb.ft

All will have an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard AWD. Fuel Economy is as follows:
