Just last year, Chevy made some big moves with their popular three-row crossover, the Traverse, with a full redesign. The Traverse is challenging the likes of the Grand Highlander, which is quote the feat. And for 2025, the Traverse has even more changes! This article will cover the spec breakdowns of this 2025 Chevy Traverse but be sure to watch the video below for an in-depth design review!

What’s New for 2025?

  • New High Country Trim
  • New Sun and Wheel Package (adds roof and 20-in wheels on LT)
  • Trailering Package now on LT as standard
  • LS Trim gone

Trims and Pricing

MSRP for FWD unless noted

LT: $40,600

Z71 AWD: $47,600

High Country: $53,600

RS: $55,400

The base price rises about $3,000 with the loss of the LS trim, and the other trims rise no more than $1,000 for 2025.

Slam Dunk: The Traverse is a very practical choice

Air Ball: The High Country trim doesn’t deliver like we had hoped

Design and Features

As mentioned above, please watch the video linked below for a full in-depth exploration of the exterior design and differences. There are no major updates following the redesign last year. Traverse interior

What’s Under the Hood?

The Traverse swapped out its V6 for a new powertrain with its redesign:

  • 2.5L Turbo I-4: 328 hp | 326 lb.ft
  • 8-Speed Automatic
  • FWD or AWD (Z71 AWD only)

Though it now has a 4-cylinder engine, the Traverse does not see any improved fuel economy:

FWD: 20/27/23 MPG

AWD: 19/24/21 MPG
