The Equinox continues to have the same engine option with two different transmissions, making it a bit underpowered:

  • FWD: 1.5L turbo I-4 at 175 hp | 184 lb ft | CVT
  • AWD: 1.5L turbo I-4 at 175 hp | 203 lb ft | 8-Sp Auto

Fuel Economy remains the same for this year, still lacking a hybrid:
