What’s Under the Hood?
The 2025 BMW X7 still offers two powertrain options, with each bringing their own appeals:
- 40i: 3.0L Turbo I-6 + 48v Mild Hybrid system
- 375 hp | 383 lb.ft
- 0-60: 5.6s
- M60i: 4.4L Twin-Turbo V-8 + 48v mild hybrid
- 523 hp | 553 lb.ft
- 0-60: 4.5s
Both will come standard with AWD and 8-Speed Automatic transmissions. Rear Steering is also standard on the M60i.
