Earlier this year, we previewed the refreshed 2025 Acura MDX, highlighting its many changes, design updates, and trim adjustments. Now, we have finally gotten behind the wheel of this important model, to go in depth on all that has changed for this year. MSRP with FWD unless noted
Base: $49,850 → $50,900
Technology: $54,550 → $56,300
A-Spec AWD: $60,250 → $61,500
Advance AWD: $63,800 → $66,000
A-Spec Advance AWD: $68,000
Type-S Advance AWD: $73,500 → $74,950
In the above list, the price changes are noted, with the second number being the MSRP for 2025. Note the A-Spec Advance is new to the lineup.
Air ball and slam dunk
Slam Dunk: The Updates for the MDX are very welcome for 2025.
Air Ball: The materials are a bit lackluster for a quickly rising price.
Design and Features
The MDX was already a sharp looking SUV for the segment, and Acura continues to build on that for the refresh. There are refreshed facias for both models, including a new Diamond Pentagon grille that is frameless for sport trims. New colors join the lineup for 2025 as well, which are Urban Gray and Canyon River Blue. For an in-depth look at the design, please view the video below!

What’s Under the Hood?
The 2025 Acura MDX will not see any changes under the hood, as noted by the power figures below:
Standard: 3.5L V-6: 290 hp | 267 lb.ft
Type S: 3.0L Turbo V-6: 355 hp | 354 lb.ft
All models will have a 10-speed automatic transmission, with SH-AWD being optional or standard on all models. The 2025 Fuel Economy ratings are not yet out, but should be like the 2024 ones below:
FWD: 19/26/22 MPG
SH-AWD: 19/25/21 MPG
Type S SH-AWD: 17/21/19 MPG
