Trailblazer Front

What’s Under the Hood?

The Trailblazer continues to have two similar, yet different three-cylinder options for 2024. Though they are not gigantic, the 1.3L we had for a week put the power down well!

  • LS/LT: 1.2L Turbo I-3: 137 hp | 162 lb.ft of torque
  • ACTIV/RS (opt LS/LT): 1.3L Turbo I-3: 155 hp | 174 lb.ft of torque

AWD is optional on all Trailblazer models, and the FWD models have a CVT, while AWD sports a more traditional 9-speed automatic. The fuel economy for the models is listed below, as rated by the EPA:

1.2L CVT FWD: 29/31/30 MPG

1.3L CVT FWD: 29/33/31 MPG

1.3L 9-Sp AWD: 26/29/27 MPG
