Design and Features

As mentioned above, please watch the video linked below for a full in-depth exploration of the exterior design and differences. While the previous generation Q5 aged quite gracefully, this new generation leans in a whole new direction for Audi! The Q5 will launch with two powertrains, but there will supposedly be more to follow later on:

  • Q5
    • 2.0L Turbo I-4: 268 hp | 295 lb.ft | +7 hp for 2026
    • 0-60 in 5.8s
    • No MHEV for US Market… used to have it
  • SQ5
    • 3.0L Turbo V6: 362 hp | 406 lb.ft | +13 hp for 2026
    • 0-60 in 4.6s
    • No MHEV on this model either

These Powertrains are paired to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic and standard Quattro AWD. The fuel economy is as follows for 2026:

Q5: 22/30/25 MPG

SQ5: 19/26/22 MPG
